Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of NICU experience in level III/IV NICU License: CA RN License Certifications: - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Must-Have: Ability to float to PICU and Pediatric Acute Care Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in a NICU setting.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor and assess the health status of patients, responding quickly and appropriately to changes.- Administer medications and treatments, adhering to current standards of care and protocols.- Educate and support families of NICU patients, assisting them in understanding and managing their child's condition.- Prepare and maintain detailed patient records, documenting all care activities, assessments, and patient responses.- Participate in continuous learning and professional development to remain current with best practices and innovations in neonatal care.- Ability to transition and provide care in PICU and Pediatric Acute Care environments as needed.- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
