Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a CNA - Long Term Care to work at a Facility in Portland, OR. These are registry positions with our company.
Shift: VariableRate: $26.00/hr.Description: Position is a 13-week contract with the possibility of an extension based on demand and performance. Shifts may vary between 11:00pm – 7:00am and 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Must have CNA state license and AHA CPR certification. Must have 1 year experience as a CNA in order to qualify for the position.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTAbility to build rapport with patientsCompassionate and caring demeanorFamiliarity with medical terminologyCPR card issued by the American Heart AssociationMust have up to date certification in the state of OR
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care under direction of nursing staffRecord patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical historyUpdate and maintain all client recordsAssist nurse in maintaining medical inventoryAdminister prescribed medications to patientsSterilize and prepare medical tools and equipmentMaintain a clean and healthy environment
