Entry-Level Mixing Technician
at one of our top clients in the ingredients space here in Chicago. In this role, you will be an integral part of the product development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your scientific knowledge and passion for food to create cutting-edge flavors and ingredients for the food and beverage industry.
Under the guidance of experienced food scientists, you will participate in various stages of research, development and testing processes, contributing to the creation of exceptional and innovative products that delight consumers worldwide.
Entry-Level Mixing Technician Responsibilities:Prepare seasoning blend samples according to recipes for customer distributionMaintain cleanliness and organization in the mixing roomSupport inventory management of raw materials and overall lab organizationFollow provided recipes meticulously to ensure precision in workDemonstrate discernment in tasting and detecting subtle variations in food flavors and aromas
Entry-Level Mixing Technician Requirements:Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a science related fieldStrong passion for food and a keen interest in flavor development, food ingredients and food technologyBasic knowledge of food science principles, food chemistry and food processing techniquesDetail-oriented mindset, ensuring precision in measurements, formulations and record-keepingEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearlyAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and projectsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
