Are you living your life's work?Summary:Site Leads are the champions of their specific Physical rehabilitation Center.They are responsible for all aspects of their center including staff development, scheduling, appraisals as assigned, orientations, and physician and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Strategic Planning/Goal Setting: Review and Maintain the mission and vision of the program. Assist in the development and / or update of the strategic plan for the center within the departments full strategic plan. Establish goals to achieve the above strategic plan for the center. Assist in the budget development and maintenance of the center.Operational Oversight and Staff Development: Requirements for the staff to participate and to continue within the Center.This should include yearly education requirements to remain up-to-date in the evidence based research pertaining to patient care, and with operational information pertinent to the administrative running of the center. Activities pertaining to the center, including any committee meetings, staff scheduling, yearly appraisals, orientation, and administrative disciplinary actions. Site Leads will need to assist with marketing efforts for the center and department in general to area physicians, community entities, and to update our CCH staff. Site Leads will need to maintain scheduling for the above marketing and community activities which may include presentations.Patient Care: Complete evaluations then develop and implement or supervise the daily plan of care and clinical treatments. Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program.. Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients as they practice exercises and functional activities.Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment.Observe patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses and progress, and report to physical therapist.Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.Maintains appropriate and timely documentation in all patients treated electronic medical record. Monitor support personnel (therapy assistants, students and volunteers) Maintain Department & Health System Competencies. Maintain licensure and educational requirements as mandated by PA Board of Examiners.Credentials:Physical Therapist (Required) Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required) Education or Equivalent Experience:Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)Education Specialization:Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association Equivalent Experience: • And 2+ years Physical Therapy Acute Care experience Master of Arts or ScienceEducation Specialization:Equivalent Experience: We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
