Set-Up Technician -2nd Shift

Set up and maintain production of injection molding machines, tooling, and processes.Utilize hoists to change molds efficiently.Generate the first articles and perform material switches.Manage multiple programs in the controller.Verify tooling, instructions, and materials before use on assigned processes.Perform process verification prior to job commencement.Operate forklifts and cranes to safely transport molds.Responsible for mold changes and machine adjustments.Ability to set up and tear down molds from machines.Conduct minor repairs and change inserts.Load processes into the machine, start-up, and shut down.

This is a 2nd Shift OpportunityMonday to Friday - Start Time is 2:15pm Possible OT on SaturdaysPay Ranges $20-26/hrThe ideal candidate will have:

Troubleshoot basic machine issues during production runs.Demonstrate a solid understanding of molding machine operations.Identify the function of each component in the molding process (e.g., screw and barrel, check-ring, heating zones, thermolators).Clearly describe technical issues concisely and accurately.Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
