Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care and a passion for providing exceptional in-home patient care. As an Advanced Practice Provider with Mobile Wound Care MD, you will work independently to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic wounds, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role involves traveling within the greater Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area to service patients in their homes.

Responsibilities:* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations in the patient’s home or residence.* Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.* Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other advanced wound care procedures.* Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management, prevention, and overall health maintenance.* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care services.* Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in wound care.* Travel within the greater DFW area to service patients in their homes required.

Qualifications:* Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.* Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Texas.* Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies* Current active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas.* Certification as a Wound Care Specialist (preferred).* Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care or related field.* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits within the greater DFW area.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
