Key job responsibilitiesAs a Senior Software Development Engineer for Delivery Software Engineering within OTS org, you will be leading the design and implementation for cross-functional projects, advocate for Operational Excellence, Design best practice and Testing strategies that improve and scale our software for FC Operations and Field IT customers worldwide. A successful candidate will have an established technical background in developing custom built or ServiceNow applications, a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills along with great communication skills, and the ability to provide technical trade-off, or solution to achieve results in a fast paced environment.- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team- Establish high bar for processes and software quality standards- Being a champion of operational excellence by challenging the status quo and raising the bar- Work closely with Product Management to break down feature requirements, ability to deal with ambiguity and ambitious timelines, or make trade-off when developing scalable software- Lead the system design reviews, team process improvement- Ability to lead, influence and drive large scale cross-functional projects
A day in the lifeThis role is for a Sr. SDE with an emphasis on designing highly scalable and extensible applications. You'll be designing, building & leading other engineers on custom and ERP applications. You will also work closely with stakeholders, and products to deliver our most complex, high quality, scalable products deployed across all Amazon Fulfillment Center worldwide.
