We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist. As a machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. If you're detail-oriented, experienced in machining techniques, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines to produce custom parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.Work with engineers and other technicians in the development of prototype modelsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to achieve desired outcomes.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained and complete required documentation.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in precision machining, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in operating CNC machines and familiarity with G-code programming.Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent math skills and attention to detail.Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Benefits:
