Honing Machine OperatorWe are currently seeking a candidate with previous experience in a machine shop setting up and operating honing equipment for a client in Hinckley, Ohio!In this position, you will be working with a company that is AS91000 / ISO certified in precision grinding and specializes in production or high-volume grinding. Read on!Shift:1st Shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pmPay:$20-24/hr based on experienceKey Responsibilities:Set up and operate honing machines according to specifications.Select appropriate honing stones and abrasives.Monitor the honing process and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with honing machines and processes.Detect imperfections and take corrective measures. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.Use measuring instruments to ensure dimensions and surface finishes meet specifications.Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results.Document any changes to machine settings or processes.
