Weekly Pay Range - $2662 To $2958 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Circulating C-sections experience, travel experience preferred Job Description: - Join our friendly and receptive team as a Labor & Delivery RN.- Work in a unit with 19 L&D beds and 3 c-section suites.- Manage an average of 60 births per month.- Maintain patient ratios in line with AWOHNN guidelines (1:1 or 1:2).- Utilize Cerner EMR (PowerChart) and Fetal Link FHM System.- Participate in 12-hour shifts with shift times of 0645-1915 or 1845-0715.- Serve every other weekend and cover one major and one minor holiday in both winter and summer.- Floating to postpartum is required.- Provide care for patients 14 weeks and above with conditions such as high risk, preeclampsia, diabetes, infection, pre-term labor, abruption, and substance abuse.- Enjoy the benefit of having an OB in-house 24/7, as well as 24/7 availability for RT and pharmacy.- Understand that the hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, either a full or partial shift, with the possibility of full-hour payment for cancellations.- Participate in 1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation to become familiar with the unit.- Scrubs are provided for the unit.
