Registered Nurse - ICU @ Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a large hospital setting. License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Travelers must be comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units.- COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine are required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only.- Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season (two winter holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Job Description: - Serve as a Resource Pool RN in ICU/PCU units.- Flexible in working any assigned ICU and PCU units as needed.- Be willing to be pulled or floated to another unit every 4 hours if needed.- Maintain patient ratios of ICU 2:1 and PCU 5:1.- All requested time off must be submitted upfront.- Complete required modules within initial orientation hours. - Modules can be finished pre-start or during orientation, and hours vary based on specialty. - Orientation includes a total of 24 hours of non-billable time.
