REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 yearsTraveler Experience: Must have travel experience (no 1st time travelers)Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesSkills: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry.Certs: ACLS, BCLS and NIH.
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:CCRN and PALS.
JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:2-3. Could fluctuate based on unit needs/surges.Shift: 12HR NIGHTS36 hours can be offered.Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
RTO: 7 days MAX (prefer no more than 3 days)Float Requirement: Float required – will be included in a float rotation schedule and will float to Med Surg to help cover when needed. In crisis needs, traveler may be asked/required to float to other units to assist with care as well.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Medical and surgical intermediate and critical care level patients.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE:Unit leadership schedules per needs.
UNIT ORIENTATION:12 hoursHospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS:Navy blue or white or combination of navy/white
