Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Transplant Unit serves patients receiving carefor life-saving organ transplants, including liver, small bowel and multi-organtransplants (liver, stomach, small bowel, kidney, pancreas and colon).

As one of only seven centers that performpediatric small bowel and multi-visceral organ transplants, the TransplantCenter for Children is the nation's third largest transplant program. In fact,we perform five times as many transplants as the average transplantprogram.

Our Pediatric Transplant Teamprovides complex medical and surgical care for patients regionally, nationallyand internationally. Our team is notable for its high success rates, history ofinnovation, cohesive teamwork and family-friendly approach to the transplantprocess. The nurses on this unit work in collaboration with physicians,registered dieticians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers,physical/occupational/speech therapists, clinical technicians and child-lifespecialists to deliver high-quality care, transplant-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.

This position has a hiring range of $38.00 - $63.30
