Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Manager to oversee all aspects of our computer numerical control (CNC) operations in the finance industry. This individual will manage a dynamic team and be responsible for the programming, production, and maintenance of CNC machinery. This role requires extensive knowledge of CNC LATHE, SWISS LATHE, CNC PROGRAMMING, and CAM. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a CNC environment and at least 3+ years of supervisory experience. This is a permanent position that offers a unique blend of technical, managerial, and financial industry expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all CNC operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement CNC programs using CAM software.
- Lead and supervise a team of CNC machinists, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Ensure all CNC machinery is properly maintained and operating at peak performance.
- Collaborate with finance and production teams to develop and execute production schedules.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve machining processes for efficiency and quality.
- Develop and manage budgets for CNC operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with latest CNC technology and industry trends, implementing new strategies as necessary.
- Provide regular reports on CNC operations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in CNC operations, including CNC LATHE, SWISS LATHE, and CNC PROGRAMMING.
- At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of CAM software.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of the finance industry and its relationship with CNC operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Proficient in creating and managing budgets.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
