Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will:
- Oversee and manage all mechanical aspects of large-scale construction projects, from initial planning to completion.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the mechanical team, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement mechanical systems.
- Review and approve mechanical designs and plans, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
- Manage project budgets, including the estimation and procurement of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical construction.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Mechanical Project Manager role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with a specific focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Previous experience working with a mechanical contractor on HVAC, Piping, and/or Plumbing projects
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to construction sites as needed.
