We are a rapidly growing Construction company specializing in manufacturing custom fuel tanks, sound attenuated enclosures, and access platforms for emergency power generators! We are hiring for an Electrical Designer and an Electrical Engineer (ideally someone with experience with power generation) to join our talented team of engineers.

Our ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in 3D and 2D modeling and design using tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit and have a strong understanding of low voltage power distribution, including transformers, panelboards, and disconnects. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Electrical Designer with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising the production of electrical systems and equipment for our construction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical design principles, a strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, PLC, and power generation as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

1. Design and develop electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
2. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are in compliance with project specifications and standards.
3. Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models of electrical systems and components.
4. Program and troubleshoot PLCs as part of system design and implementation.
5. Develop and implement power generation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
6. Review and approve electrical drawings and specifications prepared by team members.
7. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation process.
9. Continually monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical design, specifically within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is a must.
4. Extensive experience with PLC and power generation systems.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
