Job Title: Product Owner (Cross Border Transactions)
Location: Minneapolis, MN / Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Job Type: fulltime
Job Summary:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for cross-border transactions using Visa products, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.Agile Product Development:Act as a Product Owner in an agile team, collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the development process from ideation to launch.Create, prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user storiesLead sprint planning sessions, define acceptance criteria, and ensure timely delivery of product incrementsStakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product compliance and successful implementation.User Experience: Champion the customer experience by ensuring that products are easy to use, reliable, and meet the highest standards of security.Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the performance of products in cross-border transactions. Use data-driven insights to optimize products and improve customer satisfaction.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all products comply with international regulations, standards, and internal risk management policies.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product success and alignment with overall business objectives.Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payment products, particularly Visa products.Strong understanding of cross-border transactions, currency conversion, and international payment regulations.Proven track record of successfully implementing or launching and managing financial products, particularly in the payments industry.Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience working with Visa/Mastercard or other major card networks is highly desirable.
