The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for supporting healthcare operations by troubleshooting and managing both simple and complex technical tasks, incidents, and projects for the Amarillo market.The technician will perform general maintenance tasks and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment.This role involves working collaboratively in a team environment under the guidance of the Senior Desktop Support Technician.Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Associate degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent technical training (years of experience may be considered in lieu of education at management discretion).Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft operating systems and applications (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite).Knowledge of Ethernet TCP/IP networks, DHCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SCCM, and Active Directory.Experience installing and replacing PCs and peripherals in accordance with security policies.Proficiency in troubleshooting and restoring hardware (PCs, peripherals, network printers, etc.) and software to a functional level.Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment.Must understand and adhere to IT Security Policies.Will maintain up-to-date CompTIA A+ certification.Must be able to:

Stand and move for long periods.Talk and hear, both in person and by telephone.Use hands to handle and grasp objects.Lift or carry up to 50 pounds.Preferred Job Requirements:

CompTIA and Microsoft certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals).
