$116,314 - $185,771Job Description:Anoka-Ramsey Community College is committed to developing articulate, critical and creative thinkers who are responsible contributors to the community. The Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA) reports to the College President, serves as the lead administrative officer of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs operations for the college, and has primary responsibility for leadership, management, strategic direction, policies, evaluation, and oversight for the academic affairs and student affairs divisions. The position is expected to collaborate with the educational and administrative leadership teams to achieve a high standard of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, academic programs, student development, academic support, student services, student life, and faculty and staff professional growth.The Vice President will provide the vision and overall guidance for policy formulation, educational planning, the Higher Learning Commission and programmatic accreditation processes, budgeting, and new program development in an integrated academic and student services/student success setting. This role will support the college's commitment to foster an appreciation and support for diversity, equity, and inclusion.The Vice President serves as the executive administrative representative on the Academic Affairs and Standards Council and participates in various Minnesota State, community, state, and national organizations.This position serves and performs responsibilities for both campuses of ARCC and will travel in-between campuses as needed. The home campus for this position will be the Cambridge campus.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree.Possess leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.Successful collaborative leadership with responsibility in multiple areas of academic, student affairs or other educational roles.Involvement in initiatives that support/increase diversity, equity, and inclusion.Experience in planning, development, and management of budgets and resource allocations.Preferred Qualifications:A Master's degree or higher.Demonstrated leadership in addressing current issues impacting higher education, especially in academic and student affairs.Commitment to shared governance principles and processes.Leadership in initiatives that support/increase diversity, equity, and inclusion.Familiarity with accreditation standards and processes.Broad student affairs experience in roles that increase students’ well-being and success.
