DescriptionCreates and maintains technologies, applications, and practices for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of data. This includes ETL, data modeling, scripting, and standard ad hoc reporting. Will have primary responsibility for data source and warehousing layers. Will also partner directly with the business to turn data into knowledge and insights. • Designs, develops, documents, and implements data mappings for ETL implementations and real-time data integrations (ETL) for OLTP and OLAP systems. • Creates architecture artifacts, such as subsystem walkthroughs, system context, and logical/physical infrastructure diagrams to support solution delivery. • Sets system performance expectations and determines required infrastructure, in conjunction with the Infrastructure team. • Manages technical debt and the mitigation strategy for the debt. • Designs, develops, documents, automates, and executes reusable test scenarios. • Performs application administration, maintenance, and tuning. • Supports existing and newly implemented solutions. • Accountable for the full software development lifecycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and on-going support. • Engages with business stakeholders to analyze the business' process needs, gathers requirements, and maps them to solutions that leverage functionality. • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts. • Provides technical guidance and mentoring to technical and business teams.Qualification• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, MIS, or directly related field required. • Minimum 6 years of experience with integration tools required. Experience with DataStage preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in multiple architecture domains and various technologies (i.e. Snowflake, Azure, Teradata, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, DataStage, Unix, Linux and Windows Scripting, SQL) required. • Extensive experience with two or more of the following data models: Snowflake, star, 3NF, dimensional, and multidimensional models preferred. • Experience leading medium-to-large sized projects using Agile methodologies preferred. • Good understanding of the theories and principles of systems development and the interrelationships of systems required. • Communicates complex ideas clearly and simply written or verbal to a technical or non-technical audience. • Communicates the business outcome related to the technology solution provided for technical and non-technical audiences.#LI-RG1 We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws.
