Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)

StartDate: 10/28/2024Available Shifts: 8 D, 10 DPay Rate: $1588.34 - $1830.05

Cath Lab- EP Tech needed asap for 13 weeksREQUIRED SKILLS: Performs the daily procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory including catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants/removals/upgrades, tilt table tests, direct current cardioversions, cardiac lead extractions, electrophysiology studies and left atrial appendage closuresGraduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program and exam eligible required. International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) status required after two years of hire. RCES / RCIS preferred.OR - Applicants who hold an ARRT certification as a Radiology Tech are required to maintain the ARRT certification.Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)Certification(s) and License(s):ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months - American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months - Default Issuing Body, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist RT(R)RCES - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
