Join us as a Founder of our new Sandoz The role As part of the Identity and Access Management team, the Global Lead Active Directory will be responsible for Active Directory services at Sandoz. Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead and deliver the design, engineering, and implementation of directory services at Sandoz, including but not limited to: Directory schema design and improvements OU structure design and improvements Directory Group management Indexing and performance of directory services High availability and scalability AD to Azure AD migration, synchronization of identities Security configurations, GPOs maintenance and updates Design standard integration patterns Drive and design integration with various applications (consumers of directory services) User attributes and compliance with applicable regulations Knowledge management of the solution Conduct internal assessments and analyze the results at least once each year about the 'health check' of the directory services environment Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiation with technology vendors and service providers Responsible for maintaining and transitioning the design and configuration changes to the operations team Act as escalation point for major incidents and guide operations team in resolving active incidents Clearly and confidently communicate technical concepts and risks to senior decision-makers across the organization What youll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: At least 10 years of experience managing directory services in a highly regulated environment. Experience in systems hardening, networking (LAN, WAN), Disaster Recovery, Security Monitoring tool, etc Prior experience in implementing and operating large scale enterprise-wide directory services. Hands on experience installing, configuring, upgrading AD configuration changes, schema extensions/modifications, set up of GPOs, OUs, trusts, etc. Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and multi-factor authentication. Experience with directory services integration, including LDAP, Azure AD, and third-party identity providers. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills ability to develop influential relationships with different stakeholders across all levels Experienced people leader with the ability to lead and develop teams across geographies, internal employees as well as external staff An entrepreneurial mindset driven by curiosity, continuous improvement, and interest in technical advancements and IAM trends Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and properly delegate work Fluent in written and spoken English Desirable Requirements: University degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or information technology or another relevant field Experience in the Life Sciences industry is considered a plus Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
