Job Title: Software Architect Expert Duration: 24 months Location: Albany, NY (Onsite) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Architect Expert to provide support, maintenance, and enhancement for existing applications, including SPDS, CertProd, and other Vital Records applications. The selected candidate will work on a variety of projects including maintaining PowerBuilder applications, migrating databases to Oracle 12c, and transitioning software to Java8 and WebLogic 12. Mandatory Requirements: 84 months of professional experience in relevant roles. Desired Skills & Experience: PowerBuilder Development: 84 months of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) in designing and implementing IT solutions using PowerBuilder. Database Management: 48 months of experience with Sybase databases, developing procedures and packages. 48 months of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, developing procedures and packages. Java Development: 36 months of experience in OOAD, designing and implementing IT solutions using Java. 12 months of experience developing Java Web Services (REST and SOAP). Documentation & Requirements: 48 months of experience gathering requirements and creating design documentation. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain existing PowerBuilder applications. Provide maintenance and support for the EDRS/SFRDS projects as they transition into operational phases. Implement minor enhancements as identified through program reviews. Manage technology-driven upgrades, including: Migrating databases to Oracle 12c. Migrating application software to Java8 and WebLogic 12. Migrating from Sybase databases.
