Kopis is searching for a Business Systems and Quality Analyst to add to our team. This role might be a good fit if you: Work well independently or with a brilliant team of experienced team members in a collaborative culture of innovation Take leadership responsibility and solve problems that impact our clients' businesses Genuinely find joy in helping others succeed Enjoy the additional freedoms and responsibilities of small company culture Rise to the challenge of difficult problems and complex systems Value doing things the right way Are not afraid to work directly with clients We want to hear from you if you: Have 5 or more years of experience in a Business Systems Analysis role, with additional skills in the areas of software quality assurance testing. Understand software requirements gathering processes and can clearly document and communicate the requirements to the development team including all the pertinent details to drive system design and architecture. This may include translating requirements into user stories for project management system tracking. Can work closely with client end users in order to become a subject matter expert on and understand the "why" surrounding customer business processes and applications and can serve as a client advocate throughout the development process. Are able to conduct software system testing to verify that applications meet the functional requirements provided by the customers. Not superficial testing, but deep business testing. Can prepare test plans, test cases, testing steps and results documentation. Have exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written and can ensure the business needs are understood and delivered during each step of the software development life cycle. Other job requirements may include building wireframes, conducting system demos and being a leader in scope control by helping to identify out of scope items.
