Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,260 per week

Certification Details ACLS, BLS, PALS Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS Job Details Specialty: PACU RN 6218 Contract length: 13 weeks Variable Days - Varied 8 & 12s - 730a-4p, 8a-430p, 830a-5p, 830a-9p, 10a-630p Call, First to Float Job Requirements Prefer 3 or more years of experience Must be able to recover pediatric patients Must be willing to second phase patients out of OR Experience or 'Must have' skills listed in the job description Schedule Information Shifts: Mixed 8 and 12 hour shifts Weeknight/Call Requirements: on call max 1-2 nights per 6 week schedule Weekend/Call Requirements: 24 hours of weekend call in a 6 week schedule Holiday/Call Requirements: as needed during contract Call response time: 30 minutes Unit Specific Information Number of beds: 15 Phase 1 and Phase 2?: Both, yes Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2 unless Pediatric or higher acuity then 1:1 Common Cases: Mixed (Pediatric patients daily), some patients have disabilities OR cases with exception of transplant RT Equipment: Vented to nasal cannula ICU patients: Can recover in PACU Floating Requirements: Will float to inpatient units as helping hands or be a sitter, phase 2 comfort Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs to be provided Orientation: 2 days in PACU, and first weekend here buddy call Additional Details RNs read strips: yes Charge nurse present on each shift Travel staff are first to float Attributes for a successful nurse in this unit: kindness, willing to help others, efficient, team player Radius Rule: 50 miles and exclusions apply with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
