Automation Test Lead

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile Methodologies and Facets particularly in Claims and Billing along with Test Automation Skills in Selenium, Java & Python. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead testing efforts and ensure the highest quality standards. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus. Title: Automation Test Lead

Location: Oakland, CA

Onsite/ Remote/ Hybrid: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing efforts for various projects ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.

• Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers fostering a collaborative team environment.

• Coordinate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Implement Agile methodologies to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

• Conduct thorough testing of Facets Claims and Billing modules to identify and resolve defects.

• Contribute in building robust test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java & Python.

• Build Test Automation Script and contribute in integration the scripts into the DevOps CICD pipeline.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback on testing progress.

• Ensure all testing activities are documented and comply with industry standards and best practices.

• Utilize expertise in Agile to adapt testing strategies to changing project needs.

• Monitor & report on testing progress identifying any risks or issues that impact may project timelines.

• Facilitate regular testing reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve testing processes.

• Drive the adoption of automated testing tools & techniques to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

• Ensure the testing team is aligned with the overall project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong experience in Agile Methodologies demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

• Have extensive knowledge of Facets particularly in Claims and Billing modules.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Show a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

• Have experience in the Payer domain which is a plus.

• Be able to mentor and guide junior team members fostering a positive team environment.

• Display a commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.

Certifications Required:

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT) Facets Professional Certification
