AEM Architect 6-12 month contract with strong likelihood for extension and/or hire If hired, person must be local or willing to relocate to Cleveland, OH Can be remote during contract Job Description : We are seeking an experienced AEM Architect specializing in new implementations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the implementation of AEM solutions that meet our clients' business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and designers to ensure successful delivery of high-quality digital experiences. Key Responsibilities : Lead the architecture and design of new AEM implementations from concept through delivery. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions. Define best practices, governance, and design standards for AEM projects. Integrate AEM with third-party tools, platforms, and APIs. Oversee and guide the development teams during the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the architectural vision. Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with AEM design patterns and performance standards. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to developers, ensuring successful project delivery. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM components, templates, workflows, and services. Qualifications : 5 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a technical architect or lead developer role. Proven experience in leading new AEM implementations from scratch, including architecture and design. Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including templates, components, dialogs, workflows, and Sling models. Expertise in AEM 6.x and beyond, including AEM as a Cloud Service. Experience with Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Apache Felix. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus. Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, code management, and version control (e.g., Git). Experience integrating AEM with third-party tools and platforms (e.g., analytics, commerce). Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Adobe certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Architect) are highly desirable.
