Description:Position Duties:Support the Data Analytics Team in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to ensure data quality before releaseCreate, review, and monitor requirement documents and visual displays of reports and dashboardsCollaborating with business owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and to complete user acceptance testingCreating documentation needed to support the repeatability of annual upgradesRemote conditions
The position is currently full-time remote but may become part-time in the office and part-time remote or revert entirely to the office worksite.Must have
5+ years of experience developing Tableau or Power BI developing dashboards, reports, and frameworksKnowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL DatabaseKnowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and designs into Tableau or Power BI solutionsAbility to produce status reports and communicate the status of projects regularlyUnderstanding of Data Warehousing principles, concepts, and architectureExperience requiredThe ideal candidate will have the following skill set as described in the contract:
5+ years of experience developing Tableau or Power BI developing dashboards, reports, and frameworksA bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Business Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. This may be substituted with relevant experience of 5+ yearsAbility to work on multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates•Knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL DatabaseKnowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)K-12 education experience preferred but not requiredAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of users and teammatesAbility to analyze and interpret business requirements and designs into Tableau or Power BI solutionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to perform unit, system, and performance testingAbility to produce status reports and communicate the status of projects regularlyRequired Skills:
Experience working with Azure SQL DatabaseSkill in the operation of computers and peripheral equipmentSkill in creative and analytic problem-solvingUnderstanding of Data Warehousing principles, concepts, and architectureAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project delivery datesAbility to effectively analyze and manage requirementsAbility to visualize complex issuesKnowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to coordinate the work of a team with the work of other units within the Department of Research, Assessment, and Accountability and other BCPS offices, schools, and departmentsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of users and team members
