Power BI Lead/Dev

Position Title: Lead Power BI Dev/Admin (more of an Architect who is hands on than a people leader) Number of Openings: 1 Project Scope / Components: This is part of the OptumInsight SOW where we are working to develop a plug & play analytics software for their customers, EIP. This resource is going to start by using the established Power BI instance internally and start building the instance off of that for the EIP Customer. The role is going to be more than just doing dashboards/reports Development Methodology: Agile - 2 week sprints High-Level Individual Duties: Visualizations / Reporting Looking for more than just building dashboards, they need someone hands on w/in the Infra - provisioning access, working with users, row level security etc. DevOps / Infra - needs to understand deployment & publishing the data The instance is set up Optum, but the client-side instance has not, they will be a large part of this and will Testing will also be in scope Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): MUST HAVE a deep understanding of PowerBi and data modeling within dax studio. Release management activities within PowerBi. Databricks. Power BI Building Reports & Dashboards Working on the Infra / Provisioning side Connecting to DBs and aiding the Data Engineering team on integrations Modern App Dev Experience Needs to have a solid understanding of DevOps and Testing Not necessarily building the Infra, but managing more of the admin tasks of Power BI and handling deployments. Database experience - SQL & PL/SQL Good Communication and Solution focused mindset. This is critical.
