Java Lead Developer (React Experience Required) Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) Duration: 12 Months Contract to Hire Work Authorization: W2 Candidates only Years of Experience: 10 years (ideally 12-13 years for a Lead role) Must-Have Skills: Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java development, including core Java concepts and advanced features. Spring & Spring Boot: Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for building Java-based applications. Frontend: Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and React for developing user interfaces. Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation using Java and Spring Boot. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers. Adaptability: Willingness to work on both legacy applications and newer projects. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead moderately complex projects and initiatives, contributing to large-scale planning and strategy within the technical domain. Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, debug, and document software applications, including upgrades and deployments, using Java, Spring Boot, React, and jQuery. Problem-Solving: Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges, evaluating technologies and procedures. Collaboration: Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical issues and achieve project goals. Mentorship: Act as an escalation point and provide guidance and direction to less experienced team members. Qualifications: Experience: 10 years of Software Engineering experience, with at least a few years in a lead or senior role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, jQuery, React, and SQL. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor less experienced team members. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
