Medical Delivery Driver

Offering $16 - $20 per hour
This employee performs routine delivery of oxygen and equipment in a professional, safe, and timely manner. This includes accurate recordkeeping, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT/FDA/OSHA/company safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Make oxygen deliveries (liquid oxygen, cylinder, and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by customer base and routing system
Deliveries may include refilling reservoirs with liquid oxygen from a truck mounted tank
Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the facility and at the center
For equipment repairs requiring other than minor repair work, equipment is to be packaged for shipment to the manufacturer or their designeeResponsible for equipment maintenance per schedule recommended by the manufacturer
Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner
Make daily inspections and complete proper paperworkMaintain established preventative maintenance schedule
Clean rental equipment when returned to the center in accordance with policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
Follow FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testingFollow policies as indicated in the operations manual and training manuals, including those found in the Safety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (includes adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency PlanningWork as on-call service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
Frequency is determined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibilityMust respond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call Report
May serve as a backup to other employeesTablet work is completed by all Service Reps, especially when dealing with inventoryGood interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationMust be comfortable with using a computer and/or tabletMust be willing to obtain a CDL class C or above with Hazardous Materials certification
Education
and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust have and maintain a valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 100 pounds.
