job summary:Our client, a global provider of wealth management services is in need of a highly professional Desktop Support contractor. The successful candidate will assist executive level employees in the tfinancial industry with critical IT support activities on a 12 month contract basis. This is a 100% onsite position in Downtown Los Angeles.
Job Description:
-Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
-Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
-Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
-Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN connectivity, Operating Systems, and provides end users support for all LAN-based applications.
-Recommends and schedules repairs.
-Installs and configures workstations.
-Requires 4-6 years of experience.

* Windows 10 support
* Mobile support - iPhone, Droid, Blackberry.
* Altiris / VPM remote support.
* Remedy ticking software.
* Bloomberg, Data Stream software experience is a plus.
* Degree is prefered
* Executive technical support experience preferred.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to to provide ""face to face"" technical support in high energy / stressful environment.
