Day-to-Day Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Analyst, who desires the opportunity to be part of an exciting network of IT professionals working in Trade Compliance functions, such as restricted party screening, customs clearance, export filings, and free trade agreements. The applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working on Trade Compliance topics. As part of a diverse global team, the candidate should have the desire to refine and evolve their skills.The analyst will be given an onboarding program of functional and technical training, but "on-the-job" learning is required. A mentor is assigned to facilitate the onboarding process.The analyst might work in a project team environment or alone on individual tasks.Team members are located across multiple regions, supporting the global business footprint.The analyst is expected to work with professionals in the TE Connectivity business units to distill and document business requirements for Trade Compliance processes and IT solutions.The analyst will work with multiple teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and support IT solutions and processes in support of business initiatives.Short Description

A Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience in restricted party screening, customs clearance, export filings, and free trade agreements is preferred.Technical skills in the following are a plus: Solaris / Unix scripting, Oracle / PLSQL, XML, Java, MuleSoftPrior experience with SAP Sales and Distribution or Logistics Execution functions is a plus.Minimum 3 years of experience in complete lifecycle development for Enterprise Applications.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication. English is the primary business language. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects at once, and at times working independently with limited supervision, while adhering to established project target dates.Ability to contribute to the design and architecture of a proposed solution in new tools / technical methods.Prior experience with Trade Compliance applications, processes, and analysis tools is a plus. COMPENSATION•Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $99,700- $149,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)•Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.•Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
