As a ServiceNow ITOM & ITAM Subject Matter Expert , you will be an important part of our platform support and development team. The successful candidate will serve as a ServiceNow ITOM & ITAM Subject Matter Expert as well as a key technical resource regarding the configuration, development, support, migration, and maintenance of ServiceNow implementation and have fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. HOW A SERVICENOW ITOM & ITAM SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow ITSM platform Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM), including the implementation, configuration, and integration of key modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, and Asset Lifecycle Management. Proven ability to drive automation and optimization of IT infrastructure and asset management processes within large-scale environments. Utilize functional area expertise to assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components Work with senior managers and executives to provide industry vision and strategic direction regarding their enterprise Guide the determination of information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional areas ability to support/meet organizational goals Generate functional area strategies for enhanced operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products. Implement configuration/customization of the ServiceNow application and facilitate the rollout of new modules and configure Application UI and workflow Provide ServiceNow architecture advisory support services including but not limited to architectural design reviews, code, roadmap design and prioritization, platform expertise, expert program/project guidance and optimization planning Complete internal system audits and actively monitor license utilization (ServiceNow applications as well as third-party add-ons) Maintaining required information security controls for the platform Common services data model and ServiceNow data models, applying data governance strategy and considerations to maximize reuse of common data elements and to maintain high data quality WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED: Technical Training, Certification(s), Degree, and 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience 4 years specializing in ITOM and ITAM Demonstrated experience in delivering high value solutions from your customers perspective with direct experience with ServiceNow platform strategy, design, and operational execution JavaScript (or similar languages) experience ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification (CSA) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire is required Flexibility to support issues or planned activities after hours, weekends and holidays as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Operations Management ( CIS - ITOM ) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Asset Management ( CIS - ITAM ) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Security Certification GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holiday The likely salary range for this position is $142,324 - $192,556. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
