QA Automation Engineer (LATAM)

Role: QA Automation EngineerLocation: ColombiaResponsibilities Develop and execute test plans and strategies tailored to specific project needs. Lead and coordinate all aspects of testing efforts from project inception to post-launch. Perform comprehensive testing, including Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and End-to-End testing. Utilize issue/defect tracking tools such as JIRA and test case management tools like TestRail. Conduct database testing using strong SQL skills. Implement automated testing using Selenium Web Driver and Java. Perform API testing with Java or any framework, preferably RestAssured using Java. Apply BDD methodology and frameworks such as Cucumber in testing processes. Test across various browser platforms, including IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Collaborate with Agile development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle. Use tools like Browserstack and Saucelab for cross-browser testing. Test web services using tools like Postman and SoapUI (both REST and SOAP protocols).
