As a Business Analyst with a technical focus, you will play a crucial role in supporting and documenting complex backend integrations for our Supply Chain solutions. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, designing technical specifications, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. You will also troubleshoot and support backend integrations and provide technical expertise to enhance product functionality and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create detailed documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria for web and API enhancements. Gather and translate business needs into technical specifications, particularly for API development and complex backend integrations. Provide ongoing application support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with the development teams to implement corrective actions. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements. Participate actively in the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies. Prepare and maintain client scope documentation for new enhancements and project requirements. Assist QA Analysts during testing phases and update design specifications as needed. Collaborate with the development, product, implementation, and support teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Create and maintain customer support documentation, including help files and user guides. Communicate openly and constructively, fostering a collaborative team environment. Analyze and provide business recommendations based on critical application and data analysis. Contribute to continuous process improvements and project success by applying industry best practices. Bachelor's or associate degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the software or construction industries. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps. Proficient in SQL querying and understanding of relational databases. Experience with tools for generating prototypes, mockups, and wireframes. Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities. Adaptive learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a history of managing complex data and integration projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
