Outpatient Behavioral Health, LLC (OBH), a well-established mental health and substance use treatment outpatient clinic with a reputation for providing compassionate and effective care, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join its dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Administrative Team Lead, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and the overall patient experience.Responsibilities (On-the-Job Training Provided):-Patient Onboarding and Intake:Assist in the intake process by collecting patient information, verifying insurance, and scheduling initial appointments.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.Handle insurance pre-authorizations and communicate with insurance companies as needed.-Invoicing and Billing:Prepare and send out patient invoices in a timely and accurate manner.Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain records of payments received.Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and coding.-Clinic Cleanliness and Maintenance:Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting clinic environment.Coordinate cleaning schedules and oversee the work of cleaning staff.Order and manage supplies to ensure a well-stocked clinic.-Administrative Support:Provide administrative support to the clinic staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing reports.Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or a related roleStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and OutlookDetail-oriented and reliable, with a commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValues of honesty, transparency, and open-mindednessCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary range of $12-$16 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits package offered after 60 days of employment, including health insurance, dental insurance, and retirement savings planOBH is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee feels valued and respected.
