Locals accepted on a case by case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rateRTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7 days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process.Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeksAttendance Policy: Travelers are held to the same attendance policy as permanent staff. All week-end callouts require a makeup where unit has a need. Will move a week day shift to a week-end for make up within 7-10 days. Holiday call outs require a doctors note. Hospital HighlightsType of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet HospitalTotal Staffed Beds: 820Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms.Charting: EPICParking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. Locals will be considered at local ratePrevious perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process.
