JOB SUMMARY AllCom Global Services is seeking a talented, motivated, and driven individual to fill a full time IT Specialist position. In this role, you'll be responsible for initial contact, providing hardware, software, system, and network technical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Additionally, the candidate will be a critical problem solver, quickly able to adapt to new technologies and can prioritize tasks. job duties and responsibilities Provide hardware, software, system, and network technical support for all company personnel via incoming calls, emails, teams chat and walk ups. Create, assign, and escalate tickets to System Administrator or IT manager when needed. Asset Management of IT hardware such as Windows Desktops, Laptops, and other peripherals. Thoroughly create documentation for IT related procedures and End User Knowledge Base. Onboarding new employees with the necessary Microsoft 365 access and other third-party applications and Systems. Responsible for executing terminations requests submitted by HR and Senior Management. Configure, Troubleshoot, and diagnose IOS and Android Phones. Deploy company equipment such as Windows desktops, laptops, phones, and other peripherals throughout the company. Coordinate shipping and receiving IT equipment. Import new company laptops into Device Management System for deployment. Assist users with installing printers, scanners, and software applications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment. Work Closely with System Administrator and IT Manager to streamline and implement new workflows and systems. Create deployment packages and assist with patching of third-party applications and Windows Desktop and Laptops. Work on other various IT Projects delegated by the System Administrator or IT Manager. Assist with remediating vulnerabilities on Windows Desktops and Laptops, Printers, and other related devices. Assist in IT and CMMC Audits. Create new shared mailboxes and distro groups. Enroll new users into MFA Solutions. Creating new lines in Cloud Calling solutions. Provide technical support after hours when necessary. job knowledge AND skills Possess Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficient at multitasking in high paced environments. Ability to answer multiple phone calls coming to the Service Desk throughout the day. Knowledge of Cloud Collaboration tools. Knowledge of Service Desk and Asset Management software. Have strong communication, verbal, and customer service skills. Eager to learn with a passion for studying new technologies and trends. Moderate knowledge in the Microsoft 365 platform. Some knowledge of networking solutions such as routers, switches, access points. Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and patching solutions. Ability to create and edit library and site permissions. Some knowledge in SASE solutions. General knowledge of VPNs. General knowledge of backups such as cloud backup solutions. Extensive knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via on site and at remote locations. Quickly assist in business wide IT outages while coordinating with System Administrator and IT Manager. Have a basic understanding of networking fundamentals such as DHCP, DNS, IP Address's, and NAT and how to troubleshoot these services. Ability to ship IT hardware to remote locations when needed. Some knowledge in surveillance systems such as IP Cameras and NVRs. Experience with VoIP systems. Associate's degree in information technology or similar degree. Have a minimum of 2 years in IT Support or a similar role. The ability to travel to different locations if needed. The ability to work after normal business hours when needed. CompTIA A, Security, and other certifications preferred. Have a background in working with Federal Subcontractors or alike is preferred. Have knowledge in NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver's license.
