Water Resources Project Manager - Columbus, Ohio - JOB #24-00006

Salary Range: $95K to $110K+ Permanent Position / Benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Columbus, Ohio area A&E Firm seeks an experienced Civil Water Resources Project Manager who is able to plan and manage projects for our Water Resources Division. Projects may include water treatment plants, water distribution systems, booster pump stations, elevated and ground level water storage facilities, wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, pump stations, rate studies, storm-water modeling, storm-water management, storm sewer systems and culverts. This position will provide both technical and client management project leadership. This position will review, mentor, develop and manage staff's performance to both projects and company's goals and expectations. Management activities may include participating in interviews and hiring decisions, training new staff, and performance management.

REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, Planning or related field.

Preferred Candidates will hold one or more of the following Certifications: P.E., RLA, PS, AICP, or other relevant certification.

Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of Civil Design Engineering experience to include 4 years of Supervisory experience.

Candidate should be proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation or other industry-based software.

Candidate must be able to Supervise associates directly or indirectly, provide ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules and deliverables.

Candidate must be able to manage all activities for assigned projects including scheduling work, project budgets, directing associates and sub-consultant activities, establishing and monitoring quality requirements, ensuring client satisfaction, and promoting integration across all areas of work.

Candidate must have experience preparing proposals/ contracts, and determine project requirements, budgets, deliverables and scope based upon client dialogue and project understanding.

Candidate will report project budget variances to Director, along with a plan to bring project back into compliance.

Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, documentation and presentation skills to include relationship building with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and teams within our organization.
