GIS Developer

Infosys is seeking a GIS Developer -. In this role you will be part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions using GIS technologies. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development and design standards and best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement, and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Lead the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework-based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Experience in application development using Visual Studio .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with ArcGIS Suit including ArcGIS Web Experience Builder, Arc Objects, Arc SDE, ArcGIS SOE's and SOI's Experience in ArcGIS Web App Builder /ArcGIS Web Experience Builder, ArcMap Runtime / ArcGIS Pro Runtime, ArcGIS Pro SDK, ArcGIS JavaScript 4.x/3.x,ArcGIS Runtime Xamarin,Arcpy ,Python Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9 Architecture Knowledge on UPDM/UN is added advantage Experience in Model View View-Model (MVVM) Experience Oracle packages/Procedures/functions Experience in Recommends tooling and capability to fulfill project requirements within the ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 ecosystem Understands best practices within ArcGIS Enterprise to promote a healthy, clean and organized GIS ecosystem Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
