The pay rate for this job is $14 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Shipping / Receiving Clerk:Oversee and evaluate all activities at the shipping dock to ensure safe and efficient loading of freightDispatch incoming orders and distribute them to the warehouse teamVerify the accuracy of orders picked by the warehouse teamEnter data such as addresses, quantities, and weights to complete shipment paperworkEnsure the correct shipping method is used for customer ordersMaintain a database of shipment data to keep customer orders updated and provide billing documents to customer service and financeNotify the supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutionsPrepare bills of lading for shipmentsTransport materials on the shipping dock using a hand truck or other vehicle as neededLoad trucks or railroad cars using a forkliftEnsure product handling and delivery meet customer expectationsKeep records of shipments and file packing slips according to company practicesPerform other related duties as assignedAvailable Shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job Requirements:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBasic understanding of truck freight ratesStrong knowledge of safety policies and best practicesMust be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedlyBackground Check and Drug Test requiredReady to take control of the way you work?
