Job Overview We have a newly created opportunity for a Release analyst to join our corporate IT team. This role can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI (Harbor District) or Chicago, IL (Rosemont / Near O\'Hare). As a Release Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across development, test, and production environments. This role combines DevOps engineering responsibilities with release coordination, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely deployments. This role will manage and optimize the release process, maintain oversight of all release activities, and ensure best practices in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Key Job Responsibilities Work with the project and operations support teams and maintain detailed deployment plans for applications in scope. Ensure compliance with release processes and governance by obtaining appropriate approvals at each stage of the release cycle. Work with Change control board and obtain necessary approvals for all production releases. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process from development through production. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into the CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and optimize the performance and security of deployment pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure releases. Organize and facilitate production release calls to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on release goals, timelines, and potential risks.
