Journeyman Glazier
MT Contracting, Inc., a leading glass and glazing company, is looking to add a Foreman-level Journeyman Glazier. We proudly serve as a subcontractor for numerous general contractors on projects in Big Sky and the Gallatin Valley.
Responsibilities:
Lead or work in a crew installing aluminum storefront and curtainwall systems
Install heavy sliding doors, casement windows, and wood window products
Measure and design break metal profiles based on details in approved shop drawings
Glass install in all system types
Organize tools and materials for each job
Capture field photos for documentation
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift 75+ lbs - Clean driving record
3+ years of relevant experience preferred
Strong problem-solving skills, including defining issues, generating solutions, implementing changes, and following up
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking someone who is strong, determined, and a good leader. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and strong math skills are essential.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage: $30 - $38 DOE
