Director of Used Cars , you will play a crucial role in driving the success of DGDG's used car business by managing inventory, sales, marketing, compliance, and profitability. This position will be reporting to the VP of Sales.What you'll be working on:Oversee pre-owned sales and stocking strategy for our group of storesResponsibly wholesale all vehicles every month in the DGDG network via best disposition channelCoach store managers on best practices to improve performance and profitSet sales goals, track progress, and manage inventory for maximum impactWhat you need to bring to the table:At least 10 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the used car marketProven record of achievement and consistencyStrong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilityExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsDeep understanding of the automotive sales cycle, market trends and customer needsExtensive retail experience - the right candidate has sold at least 400-500 used vehicles monthly on a group platform or held a public used car retailer positionMust have a thorough understanding of the used car marketAttention to detail and excellent problem solving skillsMust have extensive experience with disposition as they will lead this for the entire groupValid driver's license and clean driving record, DMV Check requiredSalary:
