We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations to build the IR function at Next Insurance. The role will report to the CFO. The person in this role will develop the overall strategy, framework and execution tactics for an IR roadmap to ensure Next is well positioned with analysts, investors and stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a key advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board on the investor relations strategy.
Lead and coordinate the quarterly earnings process, which includes creating all communication materials, drafting earnings releases, call scripts, accompanying presentations, preparing talking points, and relevant Q&A.
Handle first line communications between the company and the investment community, including shareholder relations.
Advise senior executives on communication strategy to ensure the best representation of the company within the financial groups.
Prepare senior leaders internally for meetings with the investment community.
Play a lead role with the investment community and equity analysts during any communication processes.
What We Need:
15 years of prior investor relations or equity research experience is a must; in addition, investment banking and/or corporate finance experience is a plus.
Insurance industry background and experience, preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to tell a story.
Analytical rigor and attention to details while also seeing the bigger picture per what is needed in the specific situation.
Ability to work well cross functionally with other teams in the company, such as FP&A, Accounting, Legal, etc.
Ability to influence and provide recommendations to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
Possess a strong network of investment community relationships, including investors, analysts, rating agencies, and financial media.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA preferred.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
