Certification Details Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS NIHSS preferred Job Details Float Pool RN specialty 13-week contract Float pool includes - MedSurg, Tele, Stepdown, Rehab Department: Float Pool | RN What units are included in the float pool: MedSurg, Med Peds, Tele IMCU REHAB. Behavioral Health Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 in MedSurg, 1:5 in IMCU Common diagnoses: Acute surgical, ortho/neuro, occasional hip/knee, med surg, detox, hospice, respiratory illness, post surgical, CHF, chest pain, radial cath procedures, and high renal population Job Requirements 2 years of experience Prior float experience preferred No first time traveler for float pool EPIC experience IL license in hand Preferred travel experience BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS preferred Experience with Cath lab recovery for IMCU Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 5-5, 12 hours, mental health 7-7 Call in before their shift for their assignment Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Every other No usual call or standby requirement Unit Specific Information 5 MedSurg/5 Med Peds/Tele IMCU REHAB portfolio Behavioral Health (SR/adolescent/Adult) Charge Nurse details Nurse aids/CNAs on unit and their ratios RT Equipment protocol Tele on unit: Med/Tele- Remote tele Scrub Color: Caribbean blue Unit/Department specific orientation: 1-12 hour shift on one unit Additional Details Must submit Drivers License to be considered Facility requires clinical prescreen with 24-hour window for decision Will take local candidates (20-50 miles) Local candidate billing rates apply
