GS-05.Specialized experience

is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.

Specialized experience include:Researching, Interpreting and Applying personnel policies and procedures; ANDInputting and Retrieving recurring data using an automated system; ANDProviding clear and concise communications to others in writing and/or orally.Basic Education Requirements:

One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.

OR

A combination of graduate education and experience. This will be calculated using your résumé and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application.

OR

Superior Academic AchievementCompletion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in a field of study that demonstrates the competencies required by this position with either (1) a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale; (2) a 3.5 GPA based on a 4.0 scale for all required courses completed in a qualifying major field of study at either the time of application or during the last two years of your undergraduate curriculum; (3) class standing of upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or a major subdivision of the college; or, (4) membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society certified by the Association of College Honor Societies, excluding freshman honor societies.

To qualify for

candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level

GS-07. Specialized experience include:

Utilizing automated personnel systems to process personnel information and resolve problems; ANDApplying knowledge of a variety of automated personnel systems such as HRConnect, Electronic Onboarding System (EOS), National Finance Center (NFC) and eVerify or other similar systems; ANDApplying knowledge of pay setting laws and rules for personnel actions; ANDPerforming basic analytical and research to resolve personnel actions.OR

Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B

or

J.D., if related.

OR

I have a combination of specialized experience (less than 1 year) and graduate education (beyond 1 year), that when combined equals 100% of the qualification requirement.
