How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Located in Branchburg, NJ or Fremont, CA or Asia (pending product requirements). Working cross-functionally across the business, the Senior Global Product Manager is responsible for all aspects of product strategy for the products under their control. This includes safety, health, regulatory, and environmental needs, strategic and financial fit, control and optimization of profitability, demand/capacity alignment, investment strategy, intellectual property, supply chain, manufacturing process, and quality for product and package. The Global Product Manager acts as conductor for all aspects of the products he/she manages. He/she will work closely with the Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering organizations, Air Liquide affiliates, and third-party suppliers/partners in order to develop their products and associated markets and to maximize product value and life cycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinates all aspects of industrialization, commercialization, and strategy of products under his/her ownership.

Documents and clearly communicates global strategy for all products under his/her ownership to stakeholders including ALAM upper management, Air Liquide affiliates, and all other functions within the organization.

Interfaces with sales team, Air Liquide affiliates, technical marketing, and outside sources to understand the market for his/her products and develop demand roadmaps from customers.

Establishes capacity roadmaps and validates them with ALAM stakeholders (Operations, Product Development & Engineering and operations).

Serves as product management SME in S&OP process to ensure that sales targets are being met and proactively propose improvements.

Maintains and defends pricing, cost, and profitability roadmaps.

Develops business case for new product investment.

Ensures profitability of products through continuous improvement.

Ensures robust response by the organization to any quality or other issue reported by customers leading task forces when necessary.

Identifies and evaluates suppliers with supply chain and strategic sourcing teams and provides recommendations. Actively participates in supplier selection as well as both technical and commercial aspects of supplier management.

Interfaces with AL affiliates, CVD/ALD equipment manufacturers, and customers when applicable, potentially to drive product introduction and/or quality excursion root cause analysis and corrections.

Proactively develops improvements in the product commercialization process, quality, and consistency. Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, operations, EHS) to drive design for quality and consistency in a timely manner. Upon implementation, ensures compliance with customers Management of Change (MOC) commitments.

Guides creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for those products together with Operations, Engineering, and technical development organizations.

Are you a MATCH?Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with 5+ years experience in related field.

Language: English (fluent) oral and written.

5+ years experience in working on electronic materials, semiconductor processes, or semiconductor devices with understanding of semiconductor industry culture.

Demonstrated financial acumen, facility in working with spreadsheets, and advanced understanding of models utilized to justify investments (IRR, NPV, discounted cash flows, etc…).

Understanding of analytical methods and experience in statistics and data processing for quality management. Understanding of basic statistics and six sigma principles preferred.

Demonstrated project management skills and excellent organization skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to report precisely and effectively to cross-functional teams, multicultural teams, and customers, remotely and face to face. Capable of effectively communicating with clear problem statements and reporting of actions. Able to decipher complex technical situations/experiments and communicate effectively as appropriate to all stakeholders.

Open-minded with strong critical thinking capability and adaptability to effectively interact with internal and external personnel.

Multi-level and multi-cultural interaction skills. Ability to understand and manage complex communication environments such as multicultural, customer-supplier interfaces, etc.

Strong leadership skills accepting accountability for his/her behavior: follows-up on commitments, proactive in communication and identification/reporting of issues.

Strong skills in multitasking, organization, and planning to manage ever-changing priorities. Capable of handling several projects in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in scientific or engineering discipline.

Recognized expertise or experience in air reactive, low volatility product manufacturing methods (distillation, sublimation, filtration, recrystallization) preferred.

Product Management experience in the semiconductor industry will be preferred.

Experience in product commercialization through Stage/Gate process.

Six Sigma green belt or black belt training.

Business Knowledge: Semiconductor industry customer processes, market trends.

Experience in project management.

Thin film ALD/CVD deposition processes.

Location

Any ALAM site globally as defined by the products under management.

Travel - Must be able to travel globally as required for this role (Est 15% max).
