As General Counsel, you will serve as a service-driven key advisor to our corporate and practice leadership, providing comprehensive legal support across all aspects of our business operations.Ideal candidates will be able to :Provide strategic legal counsel to executive leadership; advise on compliance, privacy, and employment mattersConsult with management, professional advisors, tax experts, accountants and other professionals, as neededPrepare, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, RFPs, and other legal documentsDraft and negotiate agreements, including commercial leases, vendor contracts, and credit documentsSupport acquisition efforts and due diligence processesManage legal and regulatory matters for international entitiesOversee litigation and work effectively with outside counselDevelop and implement legal risk management strategiesEnsure corporate governance and regulatory complianceQualifications:10+ years of relevant legal experience, including 5+ years in a senior in-house counsel roleJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with a state bar associationStrong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and international business regulationsExceptional analytical and reasoning skillsExcellent negotiation and research abilitiesOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsService-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across and outside of role when neededAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred Skills:Experience in professional services or technology consulting industriesFamiliarity with cloud-based service firms and related legal considerationsInternational legal experienceExperience with mergers and acquisitionsSpaulding Ridge’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) CommitmentWhen we engage the expertise, insights, and creativity of people from all walks of life, we become a better organization, we deliver superior services to clients, and we transform our communities and world for the better.At Spaulding Ridge, we believe our team should reflect the rich diversity of society and we take seriously the responsibility to cultivate a workplace where every bandmate feels accepted, respected, and valued for who they are.
